This year, Bangkok Dolphins gave the whole event a brand new twist. Kids are swimming against THEIR OWN ENTRY TIME. Not against their competitor. There is an average swim time for each stroke that they have to beat to qualify for the medal.
It hit us all today that the Fast Water Meet event was also the “final exam” for all the Dolphin swimmers as well. The swimming event is the exam for speed.
However, this year - a new additional event took place - Knock Out Competition - which is the test for endurance, strength, strategy, the ability of each swimmer. This year - only the top 8 swimmers from the 50M Freestyle event - were selected to compete against each other regardless of gender.
Tyler was one of the participants.
In addition, Tyler also bested his own previous time for breaststroke (gold medal) - maintain his time for freestyle and backstroke (silver & bronze).
