Right after Tyler's 6th birthday, Grandpa began to introduce Tyler to golf. Each day after school, Grandpa would help pick Tyler up from school, where together they would go to the driving range located 3 blocks away. Initially, this was to gauge his interest in the sport. Trust me - the more sports the child gets to try when at a young age - the better. Children are so flexible and learn so fast - it makes it easy for them to choose which sport they are interested in.
Tyler's early golfing days kicked off with Grandpa being his personal coach and trainer. When he began showing interest - we decided to invest in a professional trainer. The same golf trainer who trained me eons ago (^_^)
When in Thailand, we would all hit the golf course on the weekends. When Uncle Pat moved back with the family - the golf group would consist of Grandpa, Tyler, Wynn, and/or Uncle Pat or myself or Grandma....depending on how which course we played and how many people were allowed per group.
